Vasanthi DuraiappahVasanthi Duraiappah is Malaysian born and currently lives with her husband and two children in Australia. The significant motivator for writing this book was to raise funds for research in to childhood cancers such as leukaemia. Her little nephew who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia has battled this disease for the past six years.

This cookbook is also dedicated to her grandmother who passed away in 2006.

 Vasanthi’s passion is cooking, which has led to the publishing of this cookbook, to share with others her Malaysian Ceylonese heritage and recipes. Malaysia is known for its exotic cuisine as it is a ‘melting pot’ of different races and cultures and this cookbook incorporates these values.

All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to fund research into childhood cancers such as Leukaemia.
